Over several years I have held various roles within The Scout Association, at Group, District & County level.

Currently I am responsible for the organisation & delivery of our training provision. Ensuring courses are available so that over 1000 adults can engage in their training each year. This involves the day-to-day logistics as well as training team management.

Recently I have also had responsibility for the internal communications directive, ensuring effective communications to over 1500 adult volunteers - through website, emails, social media and traditional print.

I've held several youth leadership positions, the longest being for seven years. I've also been an administrator within the County and a trustee of Greater Manchester East Scouts.

Finally, I have organised and assisted on many large scale events. I've organised events for up to 700 young people, worked on staff teams at larger camps, including bar teams and I was the deputy manager of the Enterprise Zone at the 2012 Essex International Jamboree - supporting development of the zone, managing 50 volunteers to deliver a three- hour task to 600 young people twice daily.
